I’m just back from the tour to the Bartolome island. We started at 7 and came back around 16. It’s quite far away, we took a bus about an hour to the other side of the island where the boat ”Española” was.
Then we went by boat for a couple of hours before we arrived at the Bartolome island. It’s a volcanic island. They have some stairs that lead you to a Mirador where you can see the whole island and the Pinnacle Rock which it’s famous for. But what I liked most about the trip was the snorkeling – David my host lent his gear to me – that we did at the Santiago beach.
Wow!! So many fishes, from tiny ones (like 1 cm) to big ones (like 50 cm). And there are sharks and penguins too!!! And of course, cray fish and iguanas and lizards… so cool…
I won’t say more… just show you some pictures!
On our way back we saw dolphins! They swam with us along the boat.. so cool! Didn’t manage to take a good picture though.. :/
